Kamala Beach Phuket

On the Phuket map, Kamala Beach Phuket lies just north of Patong Beach and just north of the active nightlife. Kamala Beach features a nightlife that is much more low-key and many of the long term visitors tend to go there to get away from the masses of tourists at the other hotspots. The long stretch of quiet beach offers some of the best privacy and relaxation on the powdery white sand beaches and the crystal clear Andaman Sea.

When you look at the Phuket map, it is easy to see how Kamala Beach is away from the more active places like Patong Beach and Karon Beach. There is a natural land outcropping that separates it from the southern beaches. It doesn't mean it doesn't offer some great Kamala Beach hotels, restaurants and open-air bars for relaxation. It's just a little more laid back than some of the more popular tourist beach areas, so for those that like a romantic getaway, it's just perfect.
